It’s so cold

with 9 comments

Today hovered around 30 degrees all day long. It was cold. Exceptionally cold.

Why?

Because of this.

Before:

before haircut

After:

after haircut

  2. The phade is such an LA thing. Atleast I know it is here in California. Ever since me and my cousin moved to San Diego from LA we seem to be in the minority among raza that phade their hair…in the LA area we were in the majority. Same thing in the east coast?

  3. Elyery,
You’re the third person who asks me that today. No.

    HP,
I didn’t know that was a fade. I just go to the barbershop, ask for a 5 on top and 1 (sometimes a 2) on the bottom, and I get my haircut. Right now, during winter, people are growing their hair, but I’ve decided to cut it to look cleaner (as you can tell when comparing the pictures).

  4. It’s kinda a fade. Take a look at this picture, except for the white guy, we (I’m the good looking guy towards the back) all grew up in the general LA area. Now that look – with the short hair and a fade – seems to be a uniquely LA thing. Outside of LA it is reserved for more the cholo look or something. Atleast that has been my experience.

  6. […] About Diego It’s so cold […]

  7. I always wondered if shorter hair on guys made that much of a difference. No hat?

Don’t listen to HP. He doesn’t know anything.

  8. Recently did the same thing. About twice a year I always intend to grow my hair long again. It was down to the middle of my arm when I met my wife. It gets to that point where nothing can be done with it for a while. So back to the fade it was.

Good article on the “Fade” and how it’s gaining world acclaim…
