oooff! That Jonathan Gold’s writing about it is double-points for the Weekly! He a Pulitzer-prize winning writer with a great respect for well-made Mexican food. And he’s also married to Laurie Ochoa, the paper’s EIC.

I meant that the print L.A. Weekly is not distributed in South Gate or HP, so those who were written about can’t read about it. I’ve gone to El Sinaloense once and thought it was fine (I’m not a big seafood guy) and I have never been to Gumacus.
